SolarWinds Beta: Removing debug information from the top left corner of your web console

How do I remove the debug information from my web console?

Resolution:

When you install your SolarWinds Beta, SolarWinds launches some diagnostic tools, by default, as seen in the screenshot below. These diagnostic tools are very helpful when running performance tests and when troubleshooting certain problems. If you would prefer not to see these tools, you can remove them, as indicated in the following procedure.

To remove SolarWinds diagnostic tools from Beta web console views:
Note: Running the SolarWinds Configuration Wizard will overwrite the edits made in this procedure. If you run the SolarWinds Configuration Wizard after completing this procedure, you must complete the edit provided in this procedure again to remove the debug information from your web console.

Log on to your SolarWinds server, using an account with administrative privileges.
Navigate to the SolarWinds folder.
Note: The default location is C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds.
In a text editor, open web.config.
Locate the following line of code:
<add key="HubbleActive" value="True"> </add>
Change True to False.
Save web.config.

This article applies to Beta versions of all SolarWinds products using Orion Platform 2012.1 and higher.

On the server you installed NPM on, go to the webroot and find the SolarWinds folder (by default this is C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds) and open the web.config file. Around line 78, you should see something like this: Simply change the True to False, save and close the file, then refresh your browser.
