New Features in 10.7

Toolset version 10.7 provides the following enhancements:

Improved Toolset/Orion integration and security: communication between Orion and Toolset is now secure via SSL and Toolset now handles SNMPv3 credential transfers.

Improved exporting: now you can export chart data, and table and chart data export allows re-ordering and sorting. Additionally, MIB Walk now exports to Net-SNMP format.

Netflow Realtime tool now supports JFlow, SFlow, Netflow 9, and AppFlow.

Many fixes and functionality tweaks.

Fixes in Toolset 10.7

This release of Toolset includes the following fixes:

Updated communication between Orion's web site and the Toolset to SSL.
Switch Port Mapper and the MIB Browser now handle MAC addresses that have been badly formatted by SNMP agents as text instead of MAC addresses.
Fixed conflicts that occur with uninstalling other SolarWind's products after Toolset has been installed.
When launched from the browser integration menu, some tools/monitor launch but do not start processing automatically.
Network Performance Monitor hangs when clicking a Summary Chart.
Classic Switch Port Mapper has been deprecated, but the Switch Port Mapper gadget in Workspace Studio continues to be improved and has the latest fixes.

Open Issues in Toolset 10.7

This release of Toolset includes the following open issues:

Toolset should be installed for All Users rather than for individual users.
In adherence to Microsoft security policies Toolset cannot be installed from a remote machine with UAC turned on.
The External Tools link for NetFlow Realtime in Workspace Studio is disabled in Free or Standard modes. NetFlow Realtime can still be run in any mode directly.
The IP Address of the device is used as the device display name when importing static devices when there is no connectivity.
