${AcknowledgeURL} does not work properly in Alert Manager in Orion APM when sending e-mail in plain text format

Issue:

${AcknowledgeURL} does not work properly in e-mails that are sent in plain text format as results of an alert's Trigger Actions or Reset Actions. When I click the alert link, it does not go to the relevant web page.

Workaround:

This issue occurs if you are sending e-mail as plain text. Spaces within the URL are not encoded properly, so the e-mail client interprets only the first part of URL (up to the space) as a link. The workaround is to manually copy the entire link to the browser window, or to send e-mail in HTML format instead. In these cases, the HTML link for the alert is not broken by an internal space.

This article applies to: Orion APM 4.0.2 standalone, and Orion APM 3.5 and 4.0.1 if NPM 10.1.2 or later or IPAM 2.0 or later are also installed.
