1. Deselecting a range of Network Sonar subnets
   With the Select Subnets Window open, click on the first subnet you want to unselect. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the cursor to the last subnet you want to unselect. Then right click on the hightlighted subnets and select 'UnSelect Subnet'.
2. Purpose of Agent IP Address in Network Sonar
   The Agent IP Address is the first address found by Network Sonar. Then, as additional IP addresses are discovered on that device (or as new addresses respond that are determined to be a part of that same device) the subsequent IP addresses are labeled as “Agent Addresses”.
3. Error message: "Run time error '-2147'. Automation Error. The object invoked has disconnected from its client" when you try to use Network Sonar
   This error message appears when a dll becomes corrupt or is modified. This issue can be resolved by simply reinstalling the softtware on top of your existing license. The latest release of the SolarWinds Toolsets is available in the Downloads section of the Customer Area.
4. Error messages when you try to export Network Sonar data to Microsoft Excel
   When exporting Excel an error message may be displayed if the file names are too long. This issue has been resolved in the latest download Patch for Network Sonar which is available at http://solarwinds.net/Updates.

6. Manually adding subnets to Network Sonar
   If you bring up the subnet list in Network Sonar and choose "Subnets" from the menu and then choose "Add Subnet" you can manually add subnets. You can also open the database manually with MS Access and add your subnets to the Subnet Table.

8. Using Network Sonar to create a Microsoft Access database
   Network Sonar can create a Microsoft Access database while it is discovering a network. Select "File->New Database" and then change the file type to "MS-Access".
