RDNS values
Try the following tests from the Switch Port Mapper Host to see if they return RDNS values: 1. Open a CMD prompt. 2. Type ping -a [ip]. Note: Where [ip] is an IP seen in the Switch Port Mapper results. 3. Type nslookup and press Enter. 4. Type set type=ptr and press Enter. 5. Type the IP spec ...- MAC Address Discovery appears to scan a subnet to which it is not connected
MAC Address Discovery will only scan the local subnet. Check to see if you have overlapping subnet masks. This would cause this condition.
